Do You Desire Change?

Friends,

Do you feel like you’re doing all the right things but not sensing any real change in your life after accepting Jesus? Have you found a church, made christian friends, read a daily devotional on your phone but desire something more? Are you saved but seeking a deeper relationship with the Lord and can’t seem to get there, or don’t know where to start?

There is no ‘right church’ that will transform you, or correct Bible translation, or new journal, or fancy pen, or cute coffee cup, or hymn vs contemporary worship song set, or … the list goes on … we always think of people searching the world to find meaning, purpose, or transformation in relationships, work, or substances, but it happens in the church too. The ‘stuff’ of church and Bible study won’t transform you.

The obedience to God comes from you, the power to transform is God’s and God’s alone through His Spirit and His Word.

That is all.

The ‘right church‘, ‘right music’, cute highlighter set, etc, won’t do anything for you if you aren’t in the Word obediently seeking the Lord for yourself. He will show up and He will transform you.

Trust me on this. If it seems hard, it is…you have to roll up your sleeves and stick with it…wrestle with the text…let it teach you about who God is…it WILL change you. HE will change you.
