The Bible Tells Me So

Don’t overthink it! I get WHY it’s hard to let go of defining ourselves by our successes AND our failures. The enemy loves when you live from that place because as long as you are, you are in a place of bondage to what ‘was’, and hope doesn’t live there, which is where God wants you to live. God wants you to live in freedom...in the hope that comes from freedom. Freedom from who you once were; freedom to be who He has made you to be; freedom from the bondage of how bad you think, or in some cases, how bad you actually were. God does not want you there, in that place of shame, sadness, or guilt.

The Bible says He remembers it no more....as far is the east is from the west, from the highest heights to the greatest depths....that’s how far away your sin is for those in Christ.

It’s ok to loosen your grip on whatever has kept you from believing what the childrens song told us all those years ago...”the Bible tells me so”.

How do I know who I am? It took me years, 43 to be exact, but I finally opened my hand and loosened my death grip on the lies of what anyone (including myself), or anything, had ever spoken into my life, and now only have space in my head, and my heart, for who The Father says I am.

I can assure you, on this side of that decision, that there is freedom.
Love, Jules
